Paradise Honeymoon in the Caribbean

The Caribbean is an archipelago which comprises more than 7,000 islands, reefs and cays in the Caribbean Sea. The year-round good tropical weather, the long white sand beaches and the warm turquoise waters make it one of the top holiday destinations for Europe and North America. Doesn’t it sound romantic? This is where we decided to go on honeymoon.

We decided to go on a cruise and I managed to find a perfect deal. During the ten-day Caribbean Cruise we would sail during the night and stop at a different island every day. Some excursions were organised such as during our stops in the Bahamas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, etc. But if you didn’t feel like going on the excursions, you could stay on the liner and enjoy the entertainments or a dinghy would take you to the palm tree stuffed soft sand beaches. You could also go on a diving outing to explore the emerald, light blue and sparkling azure coloured waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Regarding the liner, everything was just perfect. They were offering a wide range of entertainments during the day such as cinema, swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym, casino, activities and games organised on the desk, board games, and card games. And they had all sorts of great entertainments for the night as well, as karaoke, restaurants, piano bar, disco club, etc. We met a lot of people with whom we are actually still in contact and we are planning to go on another Caribbean Cruise for our ten year wedding anniversary!
